Maisha Builders was founded in 2024 in Conyers, Georgia, by Rushit Patel and Urvish Patel — combining decades of field experience into a single, client-focused construction firm built for the modern era.
The name “Maisha” — meaning life in Swahili — reflects the company's core belief: that the structures we build are not just buildings, but the environments in which people live, work, heal, and thrive.

Director of Operations
Rushit is a highly skilled licensed contractor known for his expertise in overseeing construction projects from planning to completion. With a comprehensive understanding of construction processes and building codes, he excels at coordinating trades and ensuring seamless project execution. His pre-planning, estimating, budgeting, and scheduling skills contribute to the timely and cost-effective delivery of high-quality projects. Prior to founding Maisha Builders, Rushit was a Project Manager at Salem Development Group where he managed major commercial construction projects across the metro-Atlanta area.

Urvish Patel is a businessman and real estate investor with 20+ years of experience in residential and commercial development. His strategic thinking and innovation has steered multiple ventures towards success in a rapidly evolving market. As a real estate developer, he is primarily responsible for land acquisitions, loan acquisitions, planning and design, permitting, construction, and final sale from start to completion. He is currently developing Iris Apartments (192 units) and Everhome Suites Atlanta Stockbridge (114 rooms).
